Neighbor Sued Over Refusing to Share WiFi Password

I spend a lot of time watching YouTube videos. The latest mind blower for me is a guy who who sued his neighbor because she would not share her WIFI password. Unbelievable:

A few years ago when storm damage took out the cable drop to my house, my neighbor offered me his guest WiFi password while I was waiting for the service tech. I sure never thought of demanding it!

This entitlement is a direct result of failed parenting. Specifically, those who give kids anything they want, and continue subsidizing their lives when they're adults.

A little off topic, I once created a password for a Word Document that contain 48 letters. OK, it was a quote from a book I read. Unfortunately, since then I have done 2 things. First, I've misplaced the file, buried deep somewhere in my back-up, to the back-up external hard drive, and second ... I can't remember the way I spelled the original quote by inserting capital letters. Oh well, I don't need that document any more anyway! I did try to find it a few days ago, but gave up.

I remember when there were no passwords... you could find a host in most neighborhoods if you needed to look something up, simply drive down the street and your computer/phone would show you the strong signals and let you sign on.

Then, paranoia hit the earth...

Meanwhile, suing about anything is a new hobby - if seems the stupider the better and more likely you will get some settlement.

It's easy to sue anyone for any stupid thing. But winning is a totally different subject. And, the judge may impose sanctions on the plaintiff and/or quickly throw out the case.

It's named a frivolous lawsuit. I have one pending against me now. Got a letter from the court stating they are calling the plaintiff into court to show cause why it should not be dismissed and be forced to pay all court costs.

People will truly take anything to court these days, even something as trivial as a internet password.

wait! Isn't that your phone number too?

Yep, easier to remember when everything is the same. It's also the code for door entry into the house, my pin number for the ATM, and multiple other things that require a code. Make sure you write down though, it's pretty tough to remember......unless you are an old guy like me!
