Would you like to regenerate the title as well as the summary?
Maybe you're AI and fooling us?I was fooled by AI
My wifi password is 'NSASurveillanceVan1'
I remember when there were no passwords... you could find a host in most neighborhoods if you needed to look something up, simply drive down the street and your computer/phone would show you the strong signals and let you sign on.
Then, paranoia hit the earth...
One of my neighbors uses "pennygetyourownwifi". Big Bang Theory fans will know what that's about.I remember a number of years back when I discovered my neighbor had an unsecured wifi. I mentioned it to him, and he said something like, oh no, it is fully secured, I had my friend who works in the computer store install it. Sure dude. I brought up my Blackberry (remember those) and showed him it was open to the entire world as I connected to it. Oops! He fixed it a few days later. People just didn’t think security because they didn’t realize the potential impact of other people using their network. Network piracy with Napster and Tor, hijacking networks for child porn rings, etc has definitely made more people aware. But I must admit I enjoy seeing the names of my neighbor’s wifi networks, especially those in campgrounds. They are all nicely locked, but one is currently “Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Bandwidth.” That is one somewhere near our house. We have also had all the possibilities of government agencies and things like GETOFFMYNETWORK.
It still shows "Neighbor Sued..." here.I can't remember--is AI changing thread titles, or is it people? This one was originally "Neighbor Sued Over Refusing to Share WiFi Password" and has become "Lying is now the new way to tell the truth." What does that even mean, generally, or especially with respect to the discussion, which I assume is what prompts a title change.
I swear, I'm about to give up on the internet.
It is AI changing the titles. The OP can’t do that. I have all the AI turned off on my account and the title is still the original “Lying is now …” Drives me nuts.I can't remember--is AI changing thread titles, or is it people? Yes, whether AI is enabled or not does make the difference. I don't understand why disabling AI though, gives us an irrelevant subject line. And here’s mine. The difference is I have AI turned off in my preferences for the forum.
I fail to see the importance of all this.Yes, whether AI is enabled or not does make the difference. I don't understand why disabling AI though, gives us an irrelevant subject line.
Just trying to sort a strange anomaly, Tom.I fail to see the importance of all this.
Then you can ignore it.I fail to see the importance of all this.
The site team has a "regenerate" button. Just for the heck of it I clicked the button. It needed a couple of clicks to recognize that the video might be 'fictional'. Hopefully this tool will improve over time.Better would be for the AI summary to be updated when, you know, it needs to "learn" that the video is fiction. But that just means more churning in the AI datacenter. With the only alternative being letting AI be wrong in the interest of not gobbling even more resources.
I have set my browser(s) to never remember passwords or pre-fill forms.I don't remember my wi-fi password. My phone and my computer remember it for me.
"How many votes do we need to win?" "It doesn't matter. We will keep counting until we have enough."A conclusion based on fact is not always factual when the facts are chosen to support the desired" conclusion
Hee Haw!To anyone that needs it, my WiFi password is BR-549![]()
