John from Nevada introduced himself as a former Nash and Milan travel trailer owner who now travels with a Lance 850 truck camper on a 2000 Ford F250 7.3 diesel. He shared that his recent Death Valley trip for the Super Bloom went well despite unusually high March temperatures and losing an emergency exit window, which he now needs to replace.

Hello,
John here from Nevada. Thought I would try an RV forum to have an insight on the whole RV thing from a community perspective. I'm a former owner of a Nash and Milan travel trailers. Currently in a Lance 850 truck camper mounted on a 2000 F250, 7.3 diesel. Always an adventure having to troubleshoot surprises that happen on the road. Last trip (3/11/26) was to Death Valley to view the Super Bloom. Great trip, but the highest temps I have ever seen there in March. Lost my emergency exit window somewhere between here and there. Now I get to replace it. I know there must be a wealth of information out there, as I am not the first to "reinvent the wheel". Looking forward to helping out where I can and tapping into that wealth of information.

Hi John,

A lot of good, knowledgeable advice on here. So you have come to the right place. You have RV'ers here that travel in all kinds of RV's so someone will chime in with help when you need it. Also appreciate your input which helps those out with less experience.

I liked the Lance travel trailers and looked at those when we were trying to figure out how we wanted to travel.

It seems to me when we traveled that each trip had one event that we had to deal with in our motor home. Always a learning experience but part of the adventure. Safe travels!
