Good Morning,

I am new here and hope I can get some guidance. I bought a Turbro GL14V and S15 soft Start. Problem is that there is not place to put the softstart except on the left side of the unit and extend the wires which I can do but was wondering if any of you are running soft starts or not. I am thinking I might return the softstart as I am not really sure I need it. Just want some input and if anyone has one of these units with a Soft start where did they install it.

I am not familiar with the brand of air conditioner but, I visited their website and found the following statement.
Whether you're plugged into campground power, running on your RV battery, or using a generator, the inverter RV AC system starts smoothly and reliably without requiring an additional soft starter. This saves space, reduces cost, and simplifies setup.

I too looked at the web site. It is an inverter driven compressor so it will start slow and ramp up, and as Kirk explained and quoted them, no soft start is needed (and probably could not be properly wired up in this unit). Send it back
