My name is Mike and I live in the northern part of the lower peninsula in Michigan. I am new to RVing, as of the last 2 years when I purchased a 2000 Thor Wanderer 25' toyhauler from a friend in our Goldwing club. I guess I am getting use to the trailer, but find that backing it up is still somewhat of a challange. I like being part of a forum, I have learned lots from being a member of the "GL1800Riders" forum.
I currently am looking at changing my toiler, to something more residential, and wonder is I can remove the platform that is under my current toilet, and install my new toilet. I would also appreciate a response to where best post this question.
I am glad to be here, and thanks for this forum

Probably the General Discussion board would be the best for toilet training.  ;)    It's common to all types of RVs.

By residential, do you mean a house type flush toilet with a tank?  Or simply one that looks nicer, e.g. porcelain bowl and such?  It makes a big difference in the technical aspects. I'll wait til you post the specific question before getting into more deeply.
