Hello all,

I've been reading a lot about RV life here. I decided I wanted to travel and started looking at travel trailers about 2 mths ago. Wow can that be exhausting with all the options and the fact that none are less than about 1.5 hrs away.

Anyway I finally found one I like, the floor plan is what I was looking for, its in excellent condition, used, and in my price range.

A 2007 Denali 26RL. I dont have it yet, hope to pick it up this weekend. Its 3 hrs away so my first TT towing exp will be a good test. I've towed lots of different types and lengths of trailers so not totally new but never a TT.

I look forward to sharing and passing on anything I can in the near furture.

Roy

Hi Roy, welcome to the forum! Congratulations on your new toy, I'm sure you'll do fine towing since you've towed before.

Im actually in columbia, but have been to Hendersonville a lot, had a client up there, I did their IT till I changed jobs this yr.

thanks RVMomma, it will a little different but looking forward to getting it.

Just got the Denahli home.

the set up with the equalizer hitch was great, even with it being windy today pretty much the whole way back, there were no issues with handling. I would hardly notice any push at all from the trucks going past.

Congrat's on the new toy......And now the fun begins. Enjoy setting it up to make it yours

spent some time in it yesterday after unhitching and leveling, opened up the slide, loaded some stuff, found that I didn't look at the CO2, smoke detector, or fire ext. so I'll be ordering those soon, they are ALL original dated 2006... and of course tested the heater out while I was in it.

Important stuff there. Thanks for the reminder.  I need to check mine. I have been hanging out in mine also. Doing a bunch of work. Heater works great, its really being
tested.

Welcome from another TN camper. You will have a great time in all the wonderful state Parks you can camp in here in TN. Falls Creek Falls is by the far the most popular but there are many to choose from. (Chattanooga area)
