Hi to all on the forum. I must admit I've surfed this website many times in the past, always a result of googling a RV related question.
A belated heartfelt thanks to all participants who lend their experience and expertise to other RV'ers looking for help.
My wife and I have been RVing for 10 years in our 2006 Allegro Bay - it's been a wonderful adventure and our coach has been incredibly well suited for our trips from coast to coast to coast. At 34'11" and no tow we have gone pretty much everywhere we've wanted to. We are now looking for a diesel pusher, higher end Newmar, Monaco, Beaver, Country Coach, no bigger than 40' with 4 slides, 2004 to 2007. We thought we found the right fit with a Holiday Rambler...now my question to the forum (if I'm on the wrong thread any guidance would be appreciated).
We're looking at a 2005 Scepter coach 40 PAQ - the windshield has stress cracks at the top corners both sides. Current owner says it just happened. It's been sitting for a year and the two rear passenger side tires are flat. He started the engine and as it started to auto level the windshield cracked in the corners due to the coach twisting. I've seen on this forum this could be an inherent design problem. Is this a common issue with this coach? The coach is otherwise immaculate and well cared for.
