Hello!
My wife and I just purchased our first camper, a 2019 Lance 2185, a month ago. I wish we could say we're in love with it, but we've been having trouble with the shower leaking and water running into the living area from under the entertainment center! Upon open the hatch under the shower and under the entertainment center, we found pools of water!

We were led to believe that Lance was a superior brand, so we didn't expect to have this kind of sloppy issue. To further compound the problem, the soonest we can get it fixed under warranty is a month from now. Guess there goes our summer plans!

What recourse do we have? Obviously, water damage is a major killer of RVs and even if the leaks are fixed, how do we know there aren't other water related damage/mold?

Has anyone else had these kind of issues with newer Lance campers?

Contact the dealer NOW!!!!

X's 2 ....Any attempt on your part to make repairs yourself will void your warranty. Just do your best to make sure everything is dry. If you know where the water is leaking perhaps you could still make use of the RV and not use the source of the leak.

Make sure it's not something simple like the p-trap or other simple connection.  There should be  an access panel.
I wouldn't hesitate to repair something like that under warranty.

Take pictures and document everything.

I had a similar problem with a different RV.  The p trap was cracked.  I imagine the installer probably over torqued it.  I did a temp fix while I was on a trip.  Then on the way home my external water connection started leaking.  I tightened that up and found some other loose connections that would have started leaking.  The shop had to pull the bottom off the TT to make sure everything was dried out.  Then they pressurized the lines and checked all fittings.  I was beyond frustrated!!!

Firstly things happens with new trailers its par for the course. Im sure it will get fixed. Sorry it happened and its probably quite minor even though you dont think so ( niether would anyone if it were them) try calling the manufacture to see if anyone else can get you in sooner to fix. If not go camping get stinky come home get clean. You can always use camp showers

Look for a mobile RV repair near you. The mobile guys are usually better and cheaper. If you call Lance, they may authorize and pay for the repair.
