Hi all. Just acquired my first (and probably last) RV last week. A 21 ft Winnebago Micro Minnie. Did a one night maiden voyage Monday night and now am concerned with winterizing. The Winnebago manual is not particularly useful since it is a ?one size fits all? towables. Still looking for low point drain plugs, etc. ?

I can almost guarantee this won't be your last RV  ;)

I'm not familiar with your trailer but there are certainly others that are, so don't hesitate to ask for help. You definitely don't want to do an incomplete job winterizing as it would be expensive to fix.

I'm also not familiar with your trailer...However I will suggest some places to look. You should have a drain on your fresh water tank. The drain will likely be close to the fill port just under the trailer. Once you find that, the low point drains will likely be "Concealed in the same fashion. Mine hang down toward the back of my trailer under my bathroom.

Good luck and like Back2PA said you want to get this taken care of before a freeze sets in

Thanks for these suggestions. Have been leaving heat on until I can do the winterization properly. Winnebago has been helpful and gave me some good pointers when I called. ?

Hi, welcome and congratulations.

We have a Winnebago specific section which may be useful to you as you continue on your new journey:

Also there are several threads on winterizing which you can find using the search function in the tabs above.

Good luck and safe travels.

Welcome to the forum.

On my 2000 Winnie Chalet the low point drain valves are behind the kick panel, under the shower basin. I have to remove the kick panel with a screwdriver to get to them. The fresh water drain valve is under the bed, close to the water pump. It's a lot easier to reach. The water heater is also under the bed. Easy to get at and flip the bypass levers.

If you can crawl under the rig and find the drain tubes, the valves should be right above them. That will cut a lot of time off the search inside.
