My wife and I finally retired and we now have time to join in on the RV forums. We started out with a 9 X 12 tent 35 years ago and worked our way up to our current 5th wheel. We have camped with our children since they were babies and who are now 26 and 30 yrs old. By the way they also camp on weekends with their children. We are planning a trip from our home, Lewisporte, NL to BC and on to Alaska this coming summer and we are hoping to get a few tips from you RVers who may have already done the trip. :

Hi Lola,
We spent the summer of 2002 in BC, Yukon and Canada and can probably help you out on that end, but we did not cross Canada to get there as you will be doing.  I think RVForum members Dave & Jeanette Reavis have traveled some of that route, though. Jeanette  is a native of Newfoundland, though she now calls North Carolina home (when they aren't traveling the country in their fifth wheel, that is).

At any rate, fell free to ask whatever questions are on your mind and someone will surely be able to help.
