Hello...we just purchased a used RV...it is a 1983 Minnie Winnie 20'.? It appears to be a great vehicle, and I have only one problem.? I want to add a generator, but haven't been able to find one that fits the small confines of the generator compartment.? There is a fuel line, power connector, and what appears to be a ground wire there already, but no exit for an exhaust.? The compartment measures 27" wide by 19" tall by 19" deep.? Every used unit I have come across exceeds those measurements.? Thanks in advance!

In those years I believe Generac made generators used in motorhomes that were very small in size.  You may need to shop around the generator market to find one that fits your available space.

Have you contacted Winnebago for information on what was installed?

We are looking for a permanent install.  I haven't contacted Winnebago...good idea!  I think the Onan 2800 may just fit.  I hope that 2800 is enough to power the A/C and maybe a small TV or microwave.
