Hi everyone! We're not new to camping, but new to hauling a trailer. We live about 150+ miles away from the nearest gas station to fill our truck while towing a trailer. Because that first 150 miles involves some steep uphill grades with no facilities, we were curious as to how one might consider safely bringing extra fuel? We have traveled down our route in the summer, on motorcycle, looking for suitable stations, but have found nothing. Last time we headed south with the trailer in tow, we took an extra 5 gallon can secured in the truck bed, but I wasn't comfortable doing that. Our tank will last almost 150 miles while towing on that terrain. Any thoughts?
