Has anyone changed out the old TV for a new smart TV? Is it hard to find one that will fit in the same place and connect with all the tvs in it now.

You do realize smart TVs are only smart when connected to the internet right?

Donn is right. And you can buy a $30 Roku or other streaming stick and turn your TV into a smart tv. And for either smart tv or stick you need a way to get internet, ie wifi and cellular hotspot.

I use the FMCA Unlimited Plan via Sprint. Unlimited data for $50 per month.

We stream YouTube videos and watch Amazon Prime stuff almost every evening, in HD. It works flawlessly.
