Looking forward to learning more about my RV, and meeting folks around the RV community. My wife and I live in the snow bird capitol of Arizona. We bought an RV to get away from the heat during the summers.

There are a number of forum members who are snowbirds in Yuma like Bill and Pam. You ought to plan on coming up to Quartzsite for a bit during the rally there.

Hmm, never thought about it. We are permanent residents here so I suppose that term fits as good as any. :)

Our son in law's folks are going to meet us there for some swap meet. Not sure of exactly when.
That "swap meet" is likely in January- A HUGE flea market, plus RV show, car show, rock and mineral show, etc. runs the second half of January. See the link Don provided above for lots of information. There's also a reply thread (the linked one is info but locked, the other is for our replies/questions/etc.).

Welcome to the RV Forum.

My husband Eric and I will be joining the fun at Quartzite in January.

BTW ... This Thursday night, December 2, there will be a "live" interactive chat for anyone interested in the Quartzite Event for January 2022. The Quartzite Rally is a yearly event. You're welcome to join the chat even if you're only curious.

Here's the link and times for the Quartzite chat: Chat

Chat Times:
7 pm Eastern Time
6 pm Central Time
5 pm Mountain Time
4 pm Pacific Time.

Welcome to the forum! Alan and I arrived in Yuma on Wednesday, currently camping at Mittry Lake. We hadn't planned to come west this soon, but when the forecast called for 32 degrees in Tucson on Friday, we decided to skedaddale :)
