I'm staying full time in our ATC 34' travel trailer although i have a home nearby. (We are looking to move soon.) We recently had to take a long trip up to the northeast and that was a definite crash course in how to use our rv trailer. Hoping to do some fun relaxing trips around Texas or nearby states as the weather cools down. Was thinking of going to San Antonio and seeing Sea World and maybe some other places there. We are pretty new to Texas ourselves... got here a few years ago but havent been able to see much of Texas yet for obvious reasons.

Hi & welcome to RVForum. San Antonio is a great place to visit. The Alamo & Missions NP) the Riverwalk & River Cruises, SeaWorld, The Buckhorn & Texas Ranger Museum, an excellent zoo, and a Six Flags amusement park (and more too!).
Here is a handy itinerary for a 3 day visit (but 3 days isn't enough to do the entire list!).

We lived in San Antonio for 6 years back in the 90’s. Could never figure out why they built the Alamo right in the center of town. 😎 We had season passes for Sea World. Enjoyed going out there for concerts. Great restaurants in San Antonio. Be sure to check out the Hill Country. Pretty up there.

Hill Country is nice. We liked Luckenbach, Shiner Brewery, Fredericksburg and my best was Gruene an the Gristmill but more importantly seeing Kevin Costener and his band Modern West performance in the Gruene Hall. The oldest music hall in Texas.
