Are you sure there is power at that pedestal?
Remove the plug from the outlet and test with a multimeter?

Do you have a portable appliance you can plug into the 15 amp utility outlet to see if there's power there? That would be a start any way. Do you have an onboard generator? Have you tried running it to see what happens? A failed automatic transfer switch could be causing your problem.

That should run your microwave and the converter should be charging your battery back up.

Yeah chef Mike turned right on, and I can hear the converter running now... Needless to say I'm a complete amateur at this... Thanks for all the knowledgeable help though!

Is your rig equipped for a generator?
if so, perhaps there is a socket that the inside end of the shore power Cord needs to be plugged in to?

Glad you found it.
Normal etiquette is to flip off the pedestal breaker before unplugging. Next camper expects to turn it on.

That is the safest way for you and for the next person to connect and it also makes the RV's plug and the outlet stay in better condition.

If the rig has a transfer switch, that might be where the power is being lost.

The problem has been fixed. The 30 amp breaker was turned off.
No power in the outlets :/
I'm plugged into 30A now, I had a 15/30 converter on before. Same result though

Always start at the source. If 110v, does the shore power outlet have power. If 12v, does the battery have power. Work forward from there. Working backwards from there problem will always take more time and create all kinds of WAGs. The converter could be a problem but, in most cases, the 110v power just passes through the converter to the main fuse box, so the converter has no effect on shore power with the exception of a possible circuit breaker at the converter. With that being said, if the batteries are not being charged the issue lies with the incoming power from the "Source" to the converter. Does the unit have an onboard generator? Most units with a generator have a transfer switch that switches source power from shore to generator. If the generator powers 110v circuits then the problem is with the source at the pedestal, the incoming cord or the transfer switch.
