It sounds like the beginning of problems with the cooling unit, but that is only a guess with the little information that we have. Here is a copy of the service manual for your Norcold Refrigerator, which should help.

The two freezer compartments operate off the same chiller plate, which is behind the rear wall. If one side is warm, I would suspect a air leak around the door. Or simply that it is packed with enough stuff that the chill from the back wall doesn't penetrate the rest of the space very well. There is no fan air circulation in that model.

Hi Bulldawg, My Norcold 1201 had been giving me problems for the last 3 years. With having all the problems replaced - circuite board - thermistor - and recall box, I still had a cooling problem. Until I installed 3 fans in the roof vent. After install I had to turn down the temp from 9 to 5 and have never had a problem since. I know they don't have proper venting. This worked for me. The fans I used were NOCTUA - NF-F12 (2000 PWM). Was just outside of Yuma a few months ago and the temp was 105` and the sun shining on the left side all day, no problems with temp at all.
