Hi all,

So i get this A code on my fridge when i put into AC mode, from research it means the fridge isn't getting AC.

All the fuses are good. The plug works and the heating element is hot. Like i touched it and burned my finger.

So should i just ignore the code?

See the temp gun pointed at the chimney portion in the first shot and on the heating element in the second shot.

So whats the deal?

Yes, I read it. There are a couple guys on here that are RV fridge whizzes. You'll have to wait until one of them sees this and responds. Obviously you are getting power to the unit even though the panel says you are not. At a guess, I would say you have a bad panel. In the meantime, keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't run amok and keep cooling non-stop until your refrigerator turns into a freezer.

I suggest that you download a copy of the Norcold Service Manual and use it for your troubleshooting. If you go to page 60 of this manual you will find instructions for using the diagnostic mode that is built into the refrigerator. There are 3 pages of diagnostic tests that should tell you if there is a problem.
I really appreciate this Kirk, so i went thru the diagnostic, says fault with the heater and propane flame out. Which the propane is off. Unfortunately the diagnostic feature is wrong because the fridge is super cold and element is hot. I guess i can't complain cause everything works as it should.

So i guess ill ignore it and keep on trucking.

Awesome link thanks again Kirk, big help

I'm guessing the sensor that detects 120v power on the circuit board has failed, so it immediately tries to shift to gas mode even though the electricity is flowing.
