I'm a big Northwoods fan. I bought my first Arctic Fox trailer out of a wrecking yard in 2000 and after some superficial repairs it served me well for 10 years. Then last year I bought a used Arctic Fox 5th wheel and it's holding up just as well.

Josh works for Bish's RV and they just recently added Northwood to their lineup.

Here's a somewhat long video by "Josh the RV Nerd" giving a comprehensive tour of the Northwood factory and showing what makes them different from most mass produced RVs.

The thing that surprised me most is the pace of the work. Unlike most RV factories, no one's rushing. It looks more like a custom fabrication shop than an actual production line.

We had an Outdoors RV trailer, a cousin to Northwood and built very near them with similar quality. Hands down the best trailer we ever owned. We had owned a Casita (good build quality, poor interior), a TrailManor (good built, good enough interior quality, just too much trouble though), and a Forest River (enough said). If I went back to a trailer, it would be a Northwoods or ORV. Heavy as bejeesus, but there is a reason.

Thanks for posting the video. Enjoyed watching it and learned new information. I was also very impressed with the RV manufacturing knowledge of the author.
