Hello to all. I am new here, and am looking forward to reading your opinions and experiences. I have been RV'ing since the late 80's. I was a touring pretend musician, short on talent but long on ego and enthusiasm.

Currently I don't own an RV but I am in the market. I am 74, the wife (much prettier and sweeter than me) is 70. We will be travelling with 8 children, some still toddlers.

I am currently looking at PowerHouse Coaches, 48ft built on a Volvo 870 Semi Chassis. Interior wise it is very much utilitarian. With 8 rugrats easy cleanup and tough interior is paramount.

So I look forward to reading all your woes, trials, tribulations, thrills, chills and victories. Thank you all in advance for this opportunity to get a free education. I am short on criticism, long on patience, kindness and love. It's truly nice meeting all you friends I didn't know I had. I look forward to seeing you on the road.

I’m still new here, but welcome! 8 kiddos, that’s ambitious! We travel with 5 cats in a class C. Lots of wisdom here.

Thank you Larry. We travel with 8 kids so need the space. The PowerHouse is a custom build so we are able to get seat belts for 14. This way no matter where anyone sits they can belt in. Also they are direct sales so no sales people or representatives. I am dealing directly with the Owner.

Welcome. Great looking rv. What are your travel plans? At that length you wont be able to get into a lot of places
From 14 down to toddlers and 3 on the way
Oops am new on this format. We are members of a private RV resort outside Brandon, MO. We will spend much of our time there and utilize private member resorts that are affiliated.

No thank goodness. My Daughter is carrying twins and my daughter in law is pregnant. There are three families here that include 2 sets of adopted twins and one set of biologic triplets one set of biological twins plus 4 more that are adopted and 3 additional biological All total there are 8 adopted kids and 10 biological. 8 of those will be in our coach. 5 in the second coach and 5 in the third. And 3 more on the way.

The graphic at the top of the page on Gary's link depicts one triple towing. I have a hard enough time swinging my 50' configuration into some places, can't imagine the skill handling that would require.
