Hey y’all. I’m 74. Widow 2020. Bought a new truck and 16’ tt. Looking for ideas for recliners in place of the tiny dinette. None of my gf and fit lol. Traveling with small dog and sometimes widow girlfriend. What furniture can I put instead of the dinette.

Thanks you the responses. (If any)
Ps. Bought elec trike to get around the camp grounds. Can’t walk far but in can trike around

Depending on the space you have to work with, double recliners know as wall hugger models might work for you. RecPro has some pretty good options. Also, don't just think you can remove the dinette seat boxes to get space. You will need to see what, if anything, is underneath those boxes. It may just be storage, or it may be the water heater protruding into the space and a rather expensive to move, electric power center.

EDIT: it looks like your trailer was available with a sofa rather than a dinette, so it is most likely a matter of removing the dinette and finding a double recliner to fit in the space, cutting back the LH seat flush with the fridge and making it a shelf or storage area. Me, I like my dinette, could not live without it, but everyone has different preferences.

Suggestion, click on your screen name on the right side of the red bar at the top of the screen (assuming you are using a desktop or laptop) and in the drop down box that will appear is "Signature". If you click that, you can create a personalized signature and include your exact make/model/year RV and tow vehicle. This will enable readers to answer questions more accurately. I frequently look up RV floor plans online when someone asks questions similar to yours, to get a better mental picture of what you want to do. I realize you posted it in the title, but much easier to always have it in the signature.

If your lucky, the dinette was set up on top of the carpeted floor. On my Dancer, they the left plastic over the carpet, and put dinette on top of it. That makes replacing it much easier.

My wife and I are recliner diners so I replaced the dinette in my Class C with 2 recliners from Wayfair. It was the only place where I could find comfortable 27" wide wall-hugger recliners. Some of the specialized RV furniture is very overpriced and uncomfortable. With a 12" wide rectangular table between them there is still a 4" open space on each side of each recliner. You'll have to measure how much space you'll have. Remember you need to fashion a method to secure them to the floor so they don't become FFL's (fatal flying objects) in a collision.

Check as many furniture places as you can. I found a lazy boy recliner to put in my rv. It wasnt listed as anything special but the way it reclined it needed less space than any of the rv specific stuff that is supposed to need the least room

What can you put in?
Anything that fits.
Just remember it's going get shaken so I'd stay away from E-cheap Pressed paperboard stuff like the desk I have here in my apartment.
