Onan 2500

My Onan 2500 cranks but won't start. Changed the propane in the tank.
Got it to start once or twice using the primer button holding the throttle
open. Now I can't get it to start at all. Oil level is fine. I smell propane.

Is this the QG 2500 LP, or the portable P2500 LP?

Maybe this "trick" will help?
