Today was the annual 'Opening day on the California Delta' with a number of boat parades organized by various clubs. We had a number of visitors who arrived by water to watch the Discovery Bay boat parade from our deck. Fortunately, the CA DBW opened the Delta to recreational boating just a couple of days ago.

Some pics of several folks leaving our house in their respective boats. What we thought would be a quiet day turned out to be a party (I'm glad Chris had stocked up on food and booze). Some folks stayed overnight and left this morning - DUI is not encouraged here!; Safe boating is.
