Opinions or advice on 2003 campmaster by roadmaster toyhauler TT

So while talking to my boss the other day the idea was broached of him selling me his 2003 Campmaster toyhauler trailer. It's a 24ft model I believe, where it's half garage, half basic living area. From what research I've done it seems this brand is either no longer in business or has morphed into something else. I think they started out building cargo trailers and then adding living spaces which is pretty much what this unit is. Knowing my boss and how he religiously takes care of things I'm not worried about its condition, although I still would give it a thorough look over. I like the idea of the rounded aluminum roof as opposed to the rubber roof of my dads trailer. Does anyone have experience with this line to know if they're worth having? For me he'd sell it for $5200 and it seems that from research of dealers selling similar years and models they are averaging around $7k. I'm just the slightest bit hesitant about buying a 16 year old rig, but the price seems right even if I flip it around in a few years.

I can not speak to that specific camper, but I would rather have a WELL MAINTAINED 16 yo camper than a 2 yo camper that had no maintenance!

First, do you love the floor plan?  Will it meet and exceed your needs?  Do you really want a TH?
Second consideration is condition.  You already answered that question.
Third, do you have a vehicle that can tow the camper?
Fourth, is it really worth $5200 to you??
Fifth, how much will you really use it?

Only you can answer these questions.

I've been looking at toyhauler for a few years now. I have access to my dads and use it quite frequently, his is far better equipped than this is. This unit covers the basics, small toilet/shower, basic kitchen with two burner range, sink, mic, a dinette/bed #1, and a couch/bed#2. It has heat and AC so that covers the elemental need, and the garage is big enough for my wheeler, and with fancy loading possibly a second wheeler. Additionally I have cots I could put in the garage to make more sleeping area. I know this isn't a live in trailer, but something to get you out in the wild while still offering the basic neccessities. I can live with this because I take the ATV out to be out in the woods, not in the camper. I also have enough gear that I would probably have a camp kitchen outside along with a screenhouse to relax in. My tow vehicle I'm not worried about, it's a 2011 Chev 1500 with the Z85 tow package. That's a 6 speed 5.3l auto with engine oil cooler, 3.73 rear gears, 46mm monotube shocks and 36mm front stabilizer bar, 1800# payload capacity, 11,000# gcwr(also says 16,000 max so not sure exactly on that), and an integrated electric brake controller. It's towed my dad TH which is bigger and heavier with ease both on flat and up and down grades. I'm trying to find any info I can on this particular model but haven't come up with very much. The best I can say is that one dealer selling a used one had a listed weight of 5,000lbs, but i have no idea if that's accurate.

So last week my deal was finalized and on Friday I hooked up to my new to me trailer. It towed great, although I think I'll need tires on it next year. It's definitely a no frills unit, just enough to provide some amenities and shelter, but that's alright with the wife and I, especially since there's AC and heat. I love that the roof is a rounded aluminum roof which will require little maintenance. The wife was actually pleasantly surprised with it and seems happy with it! Imagine my shock haha. Rather than having to convert the dinette or couch for sleeping I've decided to buy two sets of disc-o-bed bunk cots to put in the garage for sleeping and just leaving the door between open for the AC or heat to transfer. Anyways I brought it up to my cabin where it'll be stowed when not it use and everything went smooth turning and backing it into its new space. The only thing I need to do is replace the awning fabric, but the new one came yesterday so it'll get done this weekend. I've attached a few pictures of it.
