Jim:  Is the Unpqua highway the 126?  I'm glad you pointed out the pitfalls of the various routes from Florence to Eugene.  I thought I might take a run over to Florence and look at the coast from Westfir here.  It would be just a single day trip, though.  I'd drive the Tracker instead of the RV.

Yes, that is route 126. Very easy drive for a coach. The other two are nice runs with a car.

Jim the Umpqua Highway is rt 38 out of Reedsport. I took it years ago, but I though at the time I perferred rt 126 out of Florence.
Rt 38 goes through Drain then to I5.

You're right! The Umpqua flows along rt.38. It is the better route for the coach .
