I have an EZ WDH. Thing is, my RAM 1500 Diesel also has auto level in its towing package. On occasion, if I'm towing a few hundred miles, on mostly level roads, I've left off the WDH, towing 8.5K with a 12.6K rated cap., and have never felt the difference, staying at around 60 mph.
I think you're too close to your towing cap, using your set-up, but that's just me. I wouldn't do it, but if you're comfortable with it, best of luck to you!
