Hi to all. We are starting out first time trip with our new-to-us trailer and truck, both 2006 models.  The good advice on the forum was extremely helpful as a research resource of over a year and then with our questions as we actually looked, considered and bought both.  make sure and get the right size truck for the trailer. We picked the trailer up on Wed. in St. Cloud MN, and drove it back home in twin cities to get it loaded. We had a good drive home, and found the trailer really follows well. It has been intense but amazing fun to actually put the trailer on and take off.

We started packing up on Thursday morning, and as many of you might guess it took far longer to get it cleaned, loaded and ready to leave than we thought. We arrived after 10PM last night, but was also good practice in nighttime setup.  We are at the St. Cloud Campground back up near St. Cloud next Tuesday. This way we get the 80 mile drive each way, yet are just out of town and very close to the trailer dealer in St. Cloud to make our learning curve easier.  We made a trip to the dealer for a couple of items.

As everyone said, it is incredible. Here is a picture when we picked up the unit in St. Cloud on Wed this week.  Thanks all!

Looks like you made good decisions with your truck and trailer.  And also a good idea to be close enough to the dealer to follow up on any issues that arise from this first adventure.  Enjoy the new rig and you will soon be very comfortable with it and helping others who are new.

I'll bet everyone else in the campground loved your late arrival also. LOL

Nice set-up. You will enjoy. Congratulations!

Have fun.....5th wheels tow like a dream compared to bumper pulls...I was amazed.

Enjoy,

Jim
