Seems due primarily to misrepresentation and cancellation issues. You can read it here.

I read the story..Yes they do pressure you the old "This deal is only good today the price doubles tomorrow" thing and yes the contract is very hard to get out of.

But as Gary said. this is the standard of practice in the industry.

The Atty General is investigating (About time) but will anything be done? I do not know

OH and I'm using OAI's (Outdoor Adventure Inc) Wi-Fi to post this (yes I'm a member)

I happen to be a HAPPY member.. at the moment. but not all are ....

Well some folks are only happy when they are unhappy

Hello John I had a membership and it came uo
For renewal or something not sure what they called it but basically it was like $34 ish to upgrade to lifetime long story short no one let me know and I had to go there to do it and I’m from canada and missed it and now no membership. Contemplating buying back in now that I can cross the border again but have to start from ground zero and wonder what it is like now? One reason I bought in before was the ability to book last minute as life doesn’t always allow to book far ahead for me but from what I’ve read that is no longer a possibility? I would love to find out more from a member as sales will obviously have a different story.

Yup outdoor adventures made a few changes in their internet presence

Is the current URL for the main page
My OAI membership .. Well I could be talked out of it as it appears I'll never use it save for day trips. and I'm not doing that many of those.
