We are considering using an ozone generator to kill all mold/mildew when we take our RV out of the storage area to use.

Does anyone use ozone generators for this purpose? If so, did you buy a generator or rent one? If bought, can you recommend a make/model? Prices seem to be all  over the lot, from less then $100 to over $400.

Just another alternative that might be helpful....
I recently had a hopefully minor mold issue... seems to have been just some condensation on a few surfaces inside....
anyway, I used concrobium spray and it seems to have killed it back.
Then I bought a couple of these chlorine dioxide generators for good measure.  Hoping it killed off at least most of the rest... time will tell.  Initially anyway, seems like it all worked.  Not really enough time has passed to be sure, but a few days in and it still smells sanitized and not at all musty

If it comes back, maybe I'll look into renting one of the ozone generators

We live in SW Florida and store the coach for months at a time, so we expect mold and mildew. We head it off at the pass by having Damp Rid containers all over the coach - one in the bedroom, toilet room, bathroom vanity, kitchen and living room near the driver's area. We keep them full at all times and knock on wood, have yet to see any mold or mildew in the coach for four years. A lot cheaper and easier than having to clean up the mess later.

Beware, that O zone causes bad things for plastic, it will become brittle a lot faster, and discolor some. Do some research before using it. It will kill the smell though.
