I read the same article about Pahrump and almost died laughing. It was obviously written by someone who has never been there. They just looked stuff up on the internet. Talk about rose colored glasses and painting a false picture of the town.
And no it's not the best place to retire. Our streets are riddled with potholes, our town board is rife with corruption. Town funds just seem to disappear into thin air.
How do I know? We live here.
