Hi everyone.

Wow. Haven't been here since I was an RV newbie! Anyway, we're embarking on a remodel of our fifth wheel and the first thing I am going to do after getting rid of the RV furniture is to paint the walls. Do these walls required a certain kind of paint? What about the bathroom? Any advice appreciated. As you call tell, I have no clue.

Make sure the walls are clean, I used 2 coats of Kilz first and then painted with high quality paint with no problems.

I just finished painting our bedroom a few minutes ago. Waiting for it to dry so I can put it all back together for tonight.

After a quick wipedown, I used 2 coats of latex enamel so it will be washable.

Thank you so much! Stumped as to colour selection. i'd like to do something dramatic in the living area, but will probably stick to a neutral.

Our upholstery is sorta burgundy, so I went with a bit of tint to compliment that. We like more subtle colors, but it would be easy to add splashes of color using any one of several methods, including with a sponge, or even wallpaper 4" border. possibilities are unlimited.
