We just started a "new to us" gig as campground host at this South Caroline State Park.  Lucked into the position as the previous host had "bailed out" on the Rangers.  We will be here through February and maybe into March.  We decided to get away from the cold snowy winters of the northeaast and try this out as a way to keep active and be comfortable without it costing us for the park.  We get Tuesdays and Wednesdays off with 20 very flexible hours for the other 5 days of the week.  Full hookup provided.  This is a 40 site park, 16 of those are tent sites.  Pretty quiet and very peaceful here.  Rangers are very accomodating and helpful.
We have a daugter, BIL and 3 grandsons within 10 minutes of us, so our days off and a few other times are spent with them and it gives us a place to do laundry.  Hoping to be back traveling this summer and making this a regular way to stay away from the northern winters.

Campgound is small, very wooded with tight turns and hills for access.  I had no problem with my 32' Vista towing our car.  Other big rigs are in the campground as well.  30A electric and water at sites and a central dump station.  Free firewood too.  Two bath houses that are kept very clean - no laundry facilities within the Park.
