Park Brake Box...Check Fluid???

Can anyone give me a little more specifics on how to check the fluid in the "park brake box"???
I just read about this and don't know what it is.
Some instructions, please.

You just remove the pipe plug and the level should be even with the bottom of the hole. It only holds about 4oz.

Found the bolt and did not see any signs of leakage, so I left it alone.
