Thanks Gary. I got two quotes; both for Foremost with RVAdvantage and Recreation Insurance Specialists as the brokers and I am awaiting another quote today. RIS classified the cabin as a manufactured home while RVAdvantage classified it as a park model. One quote was for $466 year and the other $437. Both essentially the same policy.

@Oldgator73 - I know you and I are doing similar things. I haven't started the insurance thing yet but I am hoping to find a policy(ies) to cover the RV + outbuildings I am adding. It's gonna be interesting trying to get fire/theft etc on buildings on the property when there is no official permanent structure.

Sounds pretty good. My doublewide is quadruple that, but it's also 3x larger and has outbuildings, carport, etc.

Does the policy include personal liability, or is it just the park model & contents?
