Awesome Phil. Very nice photos. My favorite is the singular yellow flower. I have a lot of pleasant memories of Badlands NP. Thanks for jogging my memories.

Thanks, Tom.
Funny, that's my favorite as well, and my wife's.  All photos are with a Pixel 3XL.  It's amazing what a phone can do these days.

Great photos.  We did this a few years back but didn't get out of the vehicle much.  The no-seeums were out in force and after x-number of bites decided to stay in the car.  But after seeing your photos, I think we'll be doing it again.

We stayed in a campground in Interior, SD and made the loop road trip today.  Scenery is awesome, seems every turn in the road brought new vistas.  My Google Album

Nice Album you linked to in the OP.

We were a month behind you and the cold wind at the end of Sep 2019 was anything but short and T-shirts.

Loved staying in the deserted Camp Ground Watching the Cloud Banks on a super windy day Paint (White/Tan to Dark Gray) that Huge Incredible Mountain Range.  $1,000,000,000,000 views for sure.

The Starkness of Badlands is the Beauty for sure!

Going back to the General area again for sure. South Dakota is Very Beautiful.
