Looking for route suggestions from Pleasanton, CA to Willits, CA
Thanks

We've done that drive dozens of times.

I assume you want to avoid SF and Oakland (a wise decision)

Take 680 to Walnut Creek.
Go over the Benicia Bridge.
Head towards Vallejo on 780 (you'll be going left after the bridge)
Stay on 780 until you go through Vallejo and hit 37
Head towards Novato on 37
From there it's 101 all the way.

780 to Vallejo, then north on I-80 to Hwy 37.

When you're heading towards Novato on Hwy 37 turn right on Lakeville Highway and join 101 in Petaluma. Lakeville Highway is at the stoplight about 2 miles after Hwy 37 goes back to 4 lanes at Sears Point and is 10 miles shorter than staying on 37 to Novato.

I used to live in Santa Rosa and drove that route weekly going to and from the streetcar museum in Rio Vista.

Thank you for the suggestions, I do want to avoid SF and Oakland. We leave Sunday so hopefully a little less traffic. Lol
