I am new to full-time RV living, and working on my first kitchen leak.  The connection in the attached picture is something I have never come across in home plumbing.  Can someone tell me what it is and how to fix a leak in this connection?

Have you taken it apart and see what's does the sealing. It may be just a flat rubber washer.

What it is - a connection between two flex hoses.  Lots of flex hoses in houses, but they usually connect to hard piping.  RV use lots of flex everywhere.  As Rene said, there should be nothing special about it.  Open it up to see what it needs.

Looks like it connects a sink sprayer to water supply.
To my experience, one end is generally connected to a rigid pupe of some sort but yours appears to connect 2 flex?s.
I believe if you turn water off, relieve pressure and then pull white clip, the ends will separate. There would be an ?O? ring which seals.
I may be (and probably am) totally wrong but it looks like something I have seen under sink in a house

I will second the "Nothing special" any hardware should have what you need.  1/2" is a common pipe size (1/2 Inch IPT)
