We have Champion 2000 watt units but not duel fuel.
Just wish there was a remote start/stop facility on them like their bigger brothers.

Only issue with remote start, I left it on overnight. Gen would not start in the morning with the remote. The battery in the gen was dead.

Dual fuel dosen't hurt I guess. Is there any drawbacks other than a few bucks extra? You can buy a dual fuel and never run it on propane.

Propane exhaust is clean. Thats the benefit, lol. Good luck with your new adventure.

I have always had good luck with Honda generators. Start easy and very quiet. A lot quieter than my onboard Onan generator.

I’ve been happy with my champion 2500 watt dual fuel. Weighs about 40lbs and is easily carried with one hand. Super quiet too.

Not the cheapest though. About $600
