We are leaving Florence, OR tomorrow and will go through Portland.  We will be on I-5 and then I-84.  We need a "big rig" site preferably with 50 amp service for one night.

Does anyone have any recommdations?  Probably something around Troutdale, Casade Locks, Hood River, or The Dalles.

It appears a lot of these CGs have trains running close by, don't have large enough spaces or are only 20/30 amp service.

Can't help you after you get through Portland but on the south side at Wilsonville is Pheasant Ridge RV Park which was always our choice southbound on I-5 out of NW Washington.

Try the Columbia River Campground, I think that is the name, off marine Drive and 13th N.E in Portland.  decent sites, 50 Amp and only airplane noise.  there is one in or near Troutdale that is OK too but I forget the name.  We have stayed there on occasion too.
