Possible to boonedock on Outer Banks in December?

Getting a late start in December and hope to be able to slo mo our way down on a beach or three. 
This rig is huge, we won't be trying to hide, more like find overnight friendly places to sleep along the way.

Anyone know if that's possible?

I love that site!  I usually use it to find spots when we're headed somewhere and just need to stop and sleep.  I did end up staying 4 days at one spot when I had to wait for parts for the motor home.
