From the thread here.
I am only a rag chewer on CW. To each their own, but I do not care for the five-second QSOs of any type and I refuse to have anything to do with such.
BTW, I have been on 40 meter CW just abut every night here. I looked at 80 M last last night, the band was extra hot as shown on Reverse Beacon, but nobody using it, except a couple of guys calling "CQ DX" at the very bottom of the band.

Not me. I'm not too fond of all those ham radio contests these days. That includes POTA, SOTA, SKCC, awards, and anything else where somebody wants to exchange only a number and a 73--and perhaps a phony sig report of 599 after the other guy had to repeat his callsign ten times for the guy to copy it. There are way too many contests and awards these days that prove nothing, IMAO. No doubt I have worked every state at least ten times, but I do not have a WAS award, and I also worked well more than 100 countries (back in the 1960's when all the bands were super hot), but no DXCC.You could run your ebike over there and do a POTA activation.
