I read about this on another forum and wondered if anyone has experienced this or can shed any light on it:
A coolant leak on a 2004 HR Scepter....
The stainless steel wire in the air intake flexible line that is routed directly over the top of the coolant reservoir could rub through a small pin hole in one of the two 90 degree brass fittings for one of the coolant return lines. Other Scepter models have a different air line that is solid and is an inch or two above the return lines and should not result in the same problem.
The fix required some cutting of material on the line coming down from the outside air intake and the installation of stiffer air lines.
