So I need to change out my WAAREE controller and was thinking the Renogy MPPT controller would be good for my setup. However when you have a 50W solar on the battery, and the 200W solar suitcase on the battery will they conflict and cause a drop in charging? How to I put the most solar energy into the single battery with no power from the WFCO device. Also when on the WFCO (shore power) how do I keep it from reading too much voltage from the 50 Watt solar panel causing the WFCO from not charging optimally. When on the WFCO (shore power) the 200W suitcase will not be connected. Thanks for any help or advice. Main feature is to keep the battery charged with no shore power, to power our 12 volt GE Refrigerator, some led lights, and water pump while boondocking.

Regards,
David

My solar setups never had multiple solar arrays connected to one solar controller. Each charge controller and shore power was never interconnected. The only point they met was at the battery bank so they each only read what was happening at the batteries and adjusted independently.

It was more complex than that since multiple things connected to a single shunt but logically that is how you would show it on a circuit diagram.

I have no experience with connecting multiple arrays to one controller but i would assume that they would be set up internally to do the same thing. Hopefully others with more knowledge can speak to that

The limitation of this setup isn't your solar, it's the converter. Chemistry "Auto Detect" and "Automatic" two stage Li charge modes that may require a manual reset to me signals it's not going to do what you want when you want it to. Maybe it will work OK under your use case - only way to know is to watch it and see what it does as you use it.
