Power Jack problem - moves one way only!

Hello - I am new to the forum. I have a 2013 Keystone Passport and it's been awesome. Recently the down button on the Power Jack stopped moving the jack down. However, it moves up. I replaced the switch and ended up with the same result. Interestingly enough when I reverse the positive and negative wire from the jack on the switch terminals it moves down but not up!

Power - check
New switch - check
Motor can function in both directions - check

Now I am just confused. Any thoughts?

Welcome to the forum.
I'm no electrician but it sounds to me like it's a bad switch or the switch is wired wrong. Can you tell us the name and model of the switch. A picture of the backside of the switch may also help.

The switch might operate a relay and perhaps the relay is a fault?

If you are able to reverse the motor by swapping wires on the switch there probably isn?t a relay anywhere.  Probably.  Likely.  Maybe........ 

Mine has a control board in the electrical Bay with a bunch of relays but yours is a completely different system.

It has a reversable switch.  You just have the wires on the wrong lugs.
