Any opinios on a 74 year old traveling with a Stacker?
I am about 7 1/2 years older than you and I live in a senior community where I see people who range in age from several years younger than you to 10+ years older then me. With seniors, age is only one part of the equation and health and physical condition are much more important. When I was 74 we still traveled extensively and we did RV volunteer positions. Getting the RV ready to travel and then setting it up were pretty minor tasks yet then, but I know several folks who are that age that are far past the point of even driving. It isn't an easy thing to judge your own abilities, but it can be done. The very fact that you have asked us is an indication that you are watching. I recently stopped driving a senior citizen bus for our community because I had reached a point where I was no longer confident that my skills were what they should be to drive a bus filled with people. I'm still confident in driving my car and really think that I was OK with the bus but it had reached a point that I felt I should stop before I had an accident. That is the question that you must ask yourself. Driving always has risks, but the question is, do I contribute to those risks?

I am on my way to Kevin Means near Sierra Vista, AZ to install the Solar components from the Chateau.

I have put the Chateau and the Toy Hauler into storage to take a break from even thinking about selling them.

I am not someone that likes to negotiate with a buyer and would usually rather give stuff away.

I am willing to take the loss and just pay off the balance but the dealers want to pay almost nothing and make a lot of money.

I may lose money on the payoff for the Toy Hauler, but the Class C is worth much more that the payoff. I spent over 70K on it, not including the solar that I took off, over the last 9 months and the payoff is about 49K.

We are spending the night in a nice RV Park in Gila Bend and will be at Kevins tomorrow.

Huey. Long shot but let’s talk when your ready. I may be interested in the toy hauler. Mines getting old.
No hurry I’ll be down that way Jan thru Mar. if I was to get it — it would be then to drag back north with me in Apr.
