Problem with Slide wiring Hanging out when slide is closed

The wiring for my slide hangs out and gets pinched when the slide is closed. It is not retracting when the slide is retracted and the wiring hangs outside of the slide and is pinched when the slide is retracted. there is a spring loaded arm under the slide that I think that the wires should hook to it and it should retract and extend when the side is activated. Anyone run into this problem and how did you fix it. The motor home is a 2004 Four Winds Infinity ford chassis. I just bought it so am not sure who made the slide. Any Help Appreciated.

I've had to correct this same problem on mine as well. What I noticed is the arm you're talking about has very little movement. I added another bracket to the underside of the slide that let's the wiring harness move freely through it, while keeping the harness from sagging. I'll post a pic when I have the slide out next time.
