Protect-a tow and rear exhaust

For those of you familiar with the protect-a-tow shield, I've attached the best photos I have of the rear exhaust.  My understanding is rear exhaust can be a problem with melting the shield....since ours is a bit recessed and points downwards, will this be okay?  Or problematic?  Planning to call the company on monday but wondered what other's thought of this.  Thanks much!

In case this is helpful for anyone considering this shield, spoke to the company this morning and sent these photos and they said this will work just fine.
