I have a 07 F250 6.0 4X4, 8'' lift, 37'' Toyo tires. It weighs 8000lbs,the 5er I want weighs 11900lbs dry. My GVWR is 23000lbs. I know I'm close to the max weight. Any opinions?

With Ford's deep bed and an 8 inch lift kit, I suspect you will have problems hooking up to ANY 5'er regardless of weight.

Good luck.  I am not a fan of towing trailers of any kind to a TV that's lifted.

:)

Do you mean GCWR?  Your GVWR is considerably less than 23,000.

Your tow capacity is like anybody else's - take the GCWR and subtract the actual weight of truck, passengers and gear and that is what you can tow.

But I agree with OldSoldier - it is going to be darn near impossible to tow a fifth wheel with that much of a lift on the truck.

Based on what Gary and the the Soldier said, I suspect it is time to start looking at travel trailers.  A dropped draw bar can go a long ways towards handling a lifted 4wd.
