Putting it out there

Just over 26 years ago We babysat my grandson on New Years Eve. He was two years old at the time. Before going to bed that night I wrote “Ruler of The Universe” about that experience.

This one :
I just spoke on the phone with that grandson and he asked me if I would like to do a new project with that song. He says he has a new verse, which he will sing. Maybe it’s a rebuttal? LOL

Of course I said yes!

My grandson is a classically trained French Horn player and has played in concert halls all over Europe, Eastern Europe, and the far East. Now he’s playing for any orchestra that will pay him. He also sings in a barbershop quartet and chorus for fun. He sells incredible orchestral arrangements online and has produced dozens of French horn videos on YouTube.

It’s going to be a a strange trip.

Sounds like a fun project.

Another project came to me a few months ago. I was interrupted by Carpal Tunnel and trigger finger release surgery that kept me out of the studio for many weeks. I’m still having pain from that but this song wouldn’t let me wait. It ripped itself out of me most painfully.

A very good friend of mine from high school has a very interesting life story and I felt he really needed a song. As far as I know nobody else has stepped up to the plate so it was up to me.

His name is Danny Daniels. (Google him) He is well known for his work with Billy Graham. He has many more accolades to his name, Doctor of Theology, Evangelist, Pastor, Smuggler, decorated USMC Sargent, author, speaker, husband, father, advocate for veterans and much more. But I knew Danny when we were 15-18 years old, before all of that happened. Since the last time I saw him we have been in contact via email and Facebook only. (It’s in the song)

It’s all true. As true as I could make it. The last line will kill you. Especially if you’re a Vietnam vet.

The attached picture is the display of my audio workstation with this project on screen, notice the little duck on top of the monitor? I intend to keep it there forever. The song explains why.

As always I suggest you use headphones or earbuds because the mixes are made for them.

Thank you for listening.

Those are a .... type "B" ITCH. As a computer user both professionally and on my own yes. BOTH .. Long ago Carpal tunnel got my index finger to the point where it was painful to left click to I swapped the buttons on the Electronic rodent (Mouse) and now when I need to click I give the mouse the single finger salute finger. (The Index recovered by they way I switched in time)

Trigger is now bothering me... Also some back pain.. I got a product that's a Magnesium cream. Of course the brand says "ours is better than the others" but I'm not even going to mention the brand.
Been using it for about a week and though I still notice the Trigger finger.. Seems to have helped.

Back.. (For which I bought it) not so much but the hands are improving. Still on first jar however so time will tell
