PVC pipe *lamppost*

So I want to make one.  ((see pic)) It's pretty much a no-brainer, but not sure if 1 1/4" pipe for the straight piece is the right size?

Looks like 1-1/2 to me, but I think I'd use 2 inch. PVC is quite flexible.

Use schedule 80 PVC pipe for the thicker wall.

I wondered about 2" but wasn't sure it wasn't too big.  I'll make certain I get a big enough solar light for the top.  Schedule 80.

Agree with both Ernie and Ned.  Looks like 1 1/2 inch but would go 2 inch schedule 80  for strength.  Nice Idea!
